Project managers act as a single point of contact supervising multiple employees, communicating with stakeholders, participating in planning sessions, helping define requirements and providing cost estimates/analysis. They are also responsible for risk management, scheduling and reporting. They are accountable for all aspects of performance and quality including operations, requirements and process improvements.
